AAEP Before Treatment

-Cool & Dry Roofing was contacted by Brad at AAEP to come into his premises at Kelmscott to inspect and quote on roof repairs and internal corrosion problems.

-Due to the highly acidic and caustic baths used in the anodizing and electroplating industry, the vapours have eaten away at all the structural steel around and above the baths, as well as the roof cladding itself.

-Below are some before images of the 2 separate bath areas, and roof from above;

AAEP After Treatment

-Cool & Dry Roofing proposed to airless spray apply Metaltreat to all corroded structural steel and roof/ wall cladding inside the 2 facilities.

-This treatment penetrates deep into the rusted steel and provides a protective coating and encapsulates steel from corrosive vapours and particles.

-Access was gained with use of compact cherry picker to navigate around crane structure and spray all purlins, structural steel, and corroded roof cladding

End Result:

-Client was extremely happy with the outcome as significant water ingress problem has now been solved.

-Due to works completed client has now become compliant with inspection regulations for his industry regulatory body.

-Corrosion treatment will provide long-term protection for vital structural steel support members, crane structure, and roof/ wall cladding.
